Abstract
Though best known as a foundational expression of the field of transpersonal psychology, Grof's holotropic paradigm is also an original and vital expression of integral theory and practice. Integral perspectives can be discerned through the degree to which they manifest the following five principles or qualities: evolutionary, planetary, transdisciplinary, enchanted, and engaged. This presentation will demonstrate the integral embrace of the holotropic paradigm through consideration of these five principles in Grof's life-work.
