Abstract

This talk discusses the importance and use of ideals for psychological growth, and outlines an integral framework of ideals of psychological functioning for use by individuals, educators, and helping professionals. These ideals address mental, emotional, motivational, physical, and spiritual potentialities. They also address important aspects of everyday living.

Presenter: Larry Seidlitz, Ph.D. lives and practices Integral Yoga at Sri Aurobindo Sadhana Peetham, in Lodi, California. He a resource person in integral psychology for the new, online University of Tomorrow, based in Pondicherry, India. He is a personality psychologist, and has published numerous scientific papers in the areas of subjective well-being, emotional experience, and spirituality.
